AMC620 is a six headphones amplifier unit, with possibility of external volume control. This unit allows you to supply six headphones from one or two balanced modulation line inputs (Impedance should be from 8 Ohms to 600 Ohms). The headphone 1 is always supplied with modulation A; the headphones 2 to 6 are supplied with modulation A or modulation B. This function is used, for example, to manage the sending from the principal presenter and from the guests in different ways.
All the headphones of the AMC620 are equipped with VCA affording o control the volume either via the front panel switching, or via a remote control. The external control can be applied either on only headphone 1, or on headphones 2 to 6, or all headphones.
The AMC620 comprises 2 distinct talkback inputs with a lot of configuration possibilities, as following:

• The talkback is routed to the headphone 1, the talkback 2 is routed to the headphone 2 to 6, but there is a possibility of cross coupling, affording all configurations.
• The talkback authorization can be given, either via the presence modulation start, or via dry loop, or via 5 Volts to 24 Volts voltage.
•  Routing of talkback either on left ear, or on right ear, or on both.

AMC620 comprises a device allowing to limit, on sixteen levels, the maximum volume level on headphones. This device will be very appreciate in media library, to avoid too much acoustic pressure for guests.

A VCA remote control and headphone output unit are available under AMC616 reference. It is used to make  easier the cabling with the ampli headphone, AMC620.
